Cancelling a sale
To cancel or refund a sale, locate and tap/click on your sale. Then, tap or click "More options" and select the appropriate next action.
While we understand things can happen, it's pretty frustrating for buyers when a purchase doesn't go through. Please be mindful when selling an item that you're sure you will be able to fulfil the sale. If the buyer has already paid, we recommend that you notify them over DW Chat before cancelling the sale.
Selling outside our platform is not safe for buyers as it means we can't offer Purchase Protection:
- In the interest of ensuring the safety of our community - by cancelling a sale, we reserve the right to review your conversations with the buyer.
- All cancellations are subject to Designer Wardrobe approval.
Please note: refunding a sale will automatically refund the buyer back to their payment source(s)
How to cancel a sale
Web:
- Go to My Sales
- Select the sale you need to cancel
- Click "More options"
- Select the appropriate option and follow the steps
