I'm not receiving DW emails - how do I fix this?

We're sorry you're having trouble receiving our emails! You might be missing out on important information like purchase confirmations, or reminders about rentals that are due for return, so it's important to follow these instructions to resolve the issue. 

Here's a guide to ensure you receive our emails:

  1. First, check your spam folder. If the emails have arrived in your spam folder rather than your inbox, we recommend whitelisting our email address to prevent this from happening in the future - see the instructions below.
  2. If you have an @gmail.com address, check the Social tab of your inbox. 
  3. Make sure you're checking the correct email address - maybe you used a different email address to sign up to Designer Wardrobe?
  4. Search your inbox for emails from 'Designer Wardrobe' or '@designerwardrobe.co.nz'

 

Here's how to whitelist our email addresses

If you use Gmail:

  1. Log into your Gmail account
  2. Click the "Options" cog in the top right of the screen
  3. Click "Filters" 
  4. Click "Create a new filter" at the bottom of the page
  5. Enter "designerwardrobe" in the "From" field.
  6. Select "Create filter with this search"
  7. Tick "Never send it to Spam"
  8. Click "Create Filter


If you use Hotmail:

  1. Log into your Hotmail account
  2. Click the "Options" cog in the top right of the screen
  3. Select "Options" from the drop-down
  4. Under the "Preventing Junk Mail" heading, select "Safe and blocked senders"
  5. Select "Safe senders"
  6. Type @designerwardrobe.co.nz into the "Sender or domain to mark as safe" and click "add to list"

 

If you use a different email provider:

You can prevent emails from DW from being blocked by whitelisting our email addresses by adding them to your address book or contact list.  Most emails are sent from admin@designerwardrobe.co.nz or @designerwardrobe.co.nz
